Apple finally announced it's first Intel based computers are to be shipped next month and the above are the specmarks for the new 'MacBook' (is that like a Scottish Powerbook?). Nice.

Have you seen the new magnetically connected power cord - genius!
Trouble is if I had one I'd keep pathetically trailing the power cord across the office in the hope someone would walk into it so I could watch it gracefully detach itself.
I'm sure I would keep pathetically sneaking up behind R2D2 or Metal Mickey (which ever happened to be closest) and trying to give them a robotesque electrical-wedgie with it...
..and as if to re-inforce ToeKnees Intel/Apple link see here for the tech-no-geek-not-very-funny happenings...
Oooh...look at all the pretty numbers....and what a nice shade of purple too.
